We often hear we do not have enough time. Ask yourself how many times a week do you say “I don’t have enough time”? Often I’m sure. We have goals (which we need) but too often we become detracted by a screen. Screens offer enjoyment and there is predictive time spent with screens. But in a world where we let ourselves become distracted, do we spend enough time daydreaming?
“in a world where we let ourselves become distracted, do we spend enough time daydreaming?”
We hear our elders around us say that “Everyone is in a hurry, with no time to stop and smell the roses.” It is sad but true. We are told (and tell ourselves) how to spend our time wisely. Daydreaming is wise! It allows your mind to be free for a short time. Imagine being praised for daydreaming ….
In a world where people have imaginations like Anne of Green Gables we would all see the importance of creativity. Staring out of the window is the best source of daydreaming, it gives you freedom and the ability to focus on your thoughts and think of thoughts that you never would have thought of otherwise.
“Staring out of the window is the best source of daydreaming, it gives you freedom”
Creativity is time well spent. Allow yourself time to stare out of the window today, allow your mind to be free and from that pause from the busy world you will find so much!
